An Overview
Whilst The Consortium firmly believes that its membership should follow Government guidance and engage in Flexible Contracts for energy procurement, we also recognise that some members may not wish to enter into such arrangements immediately, and that Fixed Price Fixed Term (FPFT) Contracts may still be required as a bridge until the member engages with Flexible Contracts.
In order to support such members The Consortium offers and maintains a competitive e-tender service for FPFT Contracts (Gas, Half Hourly, Non Half Hourly, and Unmetered Supply electricity). Members are advised by The Consortium on the optimal time to undertake a competitive tender; and The Consortium conducts the tender on the members behalf. The final decision to accept a tendered offer is with the individual member.
